    Laura Ngyou | Jeweller, Designer-Maker
Left-Right: Purple sapphire, Orange spessartine garnet and Apatite
    £210.00 each

Laura’s work reflects a fascination for the miniature worlds found within natural landscape, from lichen on tree bark to coastal rock formations.

She predominantly work in precious metal, with a passion for intricate detail employing traditional techniques, including fine soldering and stone setting. She also enjoys working in mixed media, sometimes using avant-garde methods of glazing ceramic, sculpting slate and shaping bog oak to create striking colour and texture combinations.

Having trained as a jeweller and applied artist at Middlesex university, she later attended a one year postgraduate position at the prestigious Bishopsland workshops in South Oxfordshire. She recently completed a year long artist residency teaching jewellery & Silversmithing at South Hill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell and continues to run classes from her workshop in Hackney Wick, London.
